Give Your Child a Head Start

Head Start, a federally funded program, provides education, development, nutrition and health services to families with young children ages three to five at no cost to the participants. We enable children and families to identify and remove obstacles that keep them from attaining their fullest potential as self-assured, self-sufficient individuals and families through:

  • Individualized learning
  • Vision, hearing, and developmental screenings
  • Nutritious meals and snacks
  • Health services
  • Parent education
  • Community resource information

Early Childhood Services

Preschool

Teaching with curriculum that encompasses all aspects of a child’s development and learning. 

Health

Promoting physical and mental health through routine health checks and emotional development.

Nutrition

Improving a child’s well-being with healthy, well-balanced meals and a variety of new foods to experience.

Apply for Head Start

Children must be age 3 or 4 by September 1st to be eligible to apply.
